Study Abroad

Adding an international travel experience to your MBA makes you more competitive in the global job market.  UNC Charlotte offers a variety of opportunities for students to consider as they seek to globalize their MBA program. Choose between week, semester, or year-long experiences!

Global Travel Course (1 Week)

Students can choose to participate in an academic course that includes global travel. They will typically study a country or region prior to departure in order to familiarize themselves with the cultural, economic and political landscape of doing business there. Then, students will travel as a group to experience the country firsthand as they participate in cultural activities and corporate visits arranged by the university.

In 2017, students visited Prague and Budapest for the travel component of MBAD 7090: Doing Business in Central Europe

Study Abroad

UNC Charlotte has partnerships with universities all over the world.  Students are encouraged to build a full semester study abroad experience into their program.  Living abroad is really the best way for students to develop their language skills and to acclimate to the local culture.  Most of our partner universities offer graduate courses in English that can be applied to your Professional MBA. If you are interested in learning more about spending a semester abroad, contact the Office of Education Abroad to learn about deadlines and program requirements.
