What degree are you pursuing and why?

I am pursuing an MBA and I have 10 plus years of wireless telecommunications experience and I wanted to broaden my horizons through the MBA program.

Why did you choose the Belk College of Business over others?

I chose the Belk College because it is one of the best colleges in the region.

What lessons have you learned in your courses that you were able to apply on the job?

I currently work in an engineering management position. From what I have learned in class, I am applying it on the job to achieve maximum return on investment

What activities are you involved in when not working/studying?

I’m likely playing cricket, swimming or running when I’m not working or studying.

What has been the best part of your academic experience so far? Is there a particular “a-ha moment” that will stay with you after you graduate?

My A grade in my Business Econ class was the best part of my experience so far.

How would you describe the Belk College of Business to someone considering a master’s program?

The Belk College of Business will open the doors for you which have so far been closed or may not be there at all to begin with.

How has the Belk College of Business assisted in your career growth?

It’s providing me a path to explore various things and improved my thinking objectively.

What is your most important piece of advice to an incoming graduate student?

Education at the graduate level involves perseverance and the Belk College of Business is going to provide all the support you need to get through it. You just need to hang in there.
